Impact Christian Fellowship Core Team

Our Core Team functions as couples.  We are charged with giving oversight to the work and ministry of the Lord at Impact.  This includes actively covering the people and the work in prayer; teaching and sharing our history, vision and values; administering and encouraging the release of the gifts of the Spirit in our people; facilitating the rightly fitting together of our “living stones” in service and ministry; and cultivating a prophetic atmosphere of expectancy that anticipates regular experiences with the manifest presence of the Lord in the everyday lives of the people of Impact

George and Sharon were part of the team God used to start the work at Impact.  For the first five years, George served as the “lead man” at Impact, and he established our relational foundation by teaching extensively on the “one another” passages of Scripture.  Sharon has a heart for worship, prayer and intercession, and she is also part of one of the worship teams at Impact.

Richard and Glenda were part of the team God used to start the work at Impact.  Richard has a passion for the Holy Spirit and has an anointing for praying and ministering to people anytime they cross his path.  Glenda is regularly involved in discipleship and intercession, and her passion for excellence is clearly demonstrated in the design work of both of our buildings.

David and Cindy were added to the Impact team in August 2003.  David was set in place as the “lead man” at Impact, and he is actively involved in the everyday operations of the church.  Cindy has a strong prophetic anointing, and she has a gifting for intercession and personal ministry.

Franklin and Katie Bess joined the Impact team in August 2006.  They are well-known and respected members of the larger Christian community in the Kerrville area, and they both have strong teaching and ministry gifts.  Franklin also continues to be actively involved in missionary work in India and Asia.
